As per fifty-year tradition, the Venetian Easter focaccia is produced with a few genuine and quality ingredients and a slow 30-hour leavening, to give a unique aroma and flavor. Soft wheat flour, eggs, butter, sugar and citrus essential oils are combined in a dough made with mother yeast only. The surface is sprinkled with a crumbly sugar grain.
